Our fall garden tour of the year will be to Bill and Sandi Hennig's beautiful garden on Munsel Lake. We will then drive to lunch at the Driftwood Inn in Yachats. After lunch we will tour the famous Gerdemann's Garden in Yachats. Chapter members will meet in the True Value Hardware parking lot (Hwy 126 & US 101) to leave at 9:00 AM, on Friday, October 23, 2009.

The meeting topic for the Tuesday, October 20th meeting will be the mini plant auction. So bring your plants to be auctioned and your check book to purchase more! Don’t forget to contact Rosemary by the Friday before the meeting, if you plan to attend the pre-meeting dinner at 5:00 PM at the Bridgewater in Old Town.

The Tuesday, November 17th meeting topic will be about companion plants. Pre-meeting 5 PM dinner will be at the new Chen’s Family Dish restaurant on US Highway 101 just north of the 35th Street signal light.
