If you haven’t tried the RSS feed, give it a try!

Read in the Announcements Tab all about it. Every time I add something to the announcements area, it should notify you in either your email application OR your Internet browser.

RSS Feed and other items below

This 'Announcements' page is really a blog or chapter news outlet and/or commentary. Some announcements might include a podcast. A podcast will be like a radio or TV broadcast. You should have an Internet broadband hookup to receive the podcast.
The chapter blog allows our chapter members or users to subscribe to its content using a technology called RSS (Really Simple Syndication). Many folks use RSS feeds to organize multiple web sites they want to monitor. If you click on the 'RSS Feed' way below on this sidebar, another window will open asking where you would like to receive your 'RSS Feed' on your computer.
Anytime in the future when the chapter webmaster posts a news flash or announcement to this blog page, you will either be notified in your email software or browser software, depending on where you had the 'RSS Feed' sent.

What is this other information below?

Lists the categories of the news information pieces the webmaster puts out on this blog page for a particular month and shows the number of each. All 'old' information will be archived by month and/or category for future reference. At the very bottom is the RSS Feed.
